About
Our culinary adventure began in the heart of the Fiji Islands, where simplicity and purity define Indo-Fijian food culture. This rich tradition dates back to the late 19th century, when Indian indentured laborers were brought to Fiji by the British to work on sugarcane plantations.
Over time, these communities wove their Ayurvedic culinary knowledge into the local landscape, creating a unique fusion of Indian spices and Pacific island ingredients.
For over 20 years, my husband and I have nurtured and evolved the recipes passed down through our families—recipes born in these distinctive islands and shaped by migration, memory, and love. Our move to Australia, along with our travels around the world, infused new flavors and ideas into our cooking.
